So this just came as a thought.
In 2020, lots of things are happening around us, most of them are bad. Few are good. Some are costing us money more than the previous years. Things happen. We respond to it and blame.
As far as we read quotes like “It is how you respond to the actions decide what type of person you are”! we don’t tend to have a second thought.
But we can’t change the fact that we can’t change our way of thinking all of a sudden in this year right now, right when something bad happens. We react and mostly keep the outcome to ourselves as good or bad memory and hardly think of it in the future.
So all we can do is respond and keep the memory as a good or bad experience to ourselves and learn from it or forget it entirely.
I would say that, this is completely based on choice. But how is that? The answer lies in the title “Picking what is right!”. We can react and panic and save the event in our heads as bad memory and keep thinking for a long time. Or just move on and forget something.
Just like you pick a good veggie or fruit from the vendor! Think on a primal level before reacting and you will be surprised to find out that it works just fine.

Feel free to read my previous post on Tackling Distractions while building software. This applies to Tackling distractions while doing any kind of work!
Here is a fun article you can read if you really want to on Wiki about paralysing our mind with overthinking. I would strongly recommend reading the first paragraph there!
Cheers!
Nice thought 🙂
